A friend just released a site not too long ago called Conscious Reggae. The site has lots of information about conscious reggae, marijuana news, reggae festivals, reggae music, reggae news and more.
I just added some music to Opal Myth:
Mechanical Meditation
Centric Sea
Out of the Sphere
All tracks on the site are released to the public domain.
They are very synthy and floaty with influences from house and ambient music.
I put together this track in San Clemente, California, to have a track to listen to before surfing. I wanted it upbeat, with lots of synths. This worked. I used GarageBand for a lot of the synths and one beat. Then I created a beat to go with it in Reason. Then I brought it all together with Live.
This is a song that I created on the fly while waiting overnight in an airport in Puerto Rico. I was using a book to learn more about Reason 2.5, and I just cranked this one out, and I like it.
Centric Sea is an anagram for a woman that is very special to me.
This song is one that I feel is sexy house; one that you can listed to while groovin' on the dance floor in a sexy mellow way, or one that you can sit back and just bump to while chilling or driving.
